Exams: Easy
Homework: There was a lot of homework. Something was due for every class period.
Textbook: The material is extremely simple and could be learned solely from the lectures, but she assigns chapter questions that are due before the lecture on the chapter.
Homework: You had to produce documents that were in the book. They were not hard, and if you followed all the directions there was no reason not to get a 100 on the homework.
Textbook: Textbook was very helpful, and still helpful even though I have completed the course. There was an addition supply of a 1 GB Travel Drive, but now a days most people have one that is at least that anyway.
Exams: A midterm and a final are the only tests. Lots of quizes over the chapters that cannot be made up, so you have to come to class. Very easy though.
Homework: Lots of homework. We covered the entire book and had to complete the chapter review questions at the end of each chapter. She is very picky on the format of all work. Overall, the work is time consuming, but easy. A group assignment and a resume project is also required, which sucked.
Exams: Instructor was very thorough when grading the tests. This was helpful to the students because it helped prevent making the same mistakes again.
Homework: Typing assignments from the textbook.
Exams: Ms. Rogers was very insistent on no errors, but it made me be very aware of doing my best work.
Homework: Weekly homework assignments using the concepts covered in class.
Textbook: The textbook was well written. It had a lot of helpful hints in it for making Word docments look as professional as possible.
Exams: The tests are very easy if you know the material. During class hours, there is much time to practice and improve your skills in document production. Class time and homework definitley helps prepare you for the production exams.
Homework: Creating documents such as 'business letters, agendas, iteneraries, etc.' .... very simple, but graded throughly.
Textbook: Great textbook. All of the homework and class work is out of the required textbook.
Homework: There is alot of homework in this class. The chapter reviews she assigns are easy and help with studying for the test. The writing assigments near the end of semester are graded harder. You have a group presentation and you choose who is in your group.
Textbook: The textbook was extremely helpful
Exams: Not on the essay part! She requires perfection in every way. Yes every way!
Homework: Students had something to turn in every single day. It took at least a couple of hours every day to complete and they are worth minimal points. It was a whole lot of useless busy work!
Textbook: Ms. Rogers acts like the textbook is the only book written on the subject...like it is the bible of Business Communication However, because it is her bible she expects every assignment to be modeled after it and to be perfect. You use the book a lot!
Exams: Easy!
Homework: Keyboarding assignments.. maybe two short documents for homework each class.. but usually you had time to finish them in class
Textbook: It's very helpful and you use it every day
